Japan just made a new metal from waste wood β€” and it’s stronger than titanium.
At the University of Tokyo, scientists have created a groundbreaking new material: a metal-like composite made entirely from discarded wood fibers. Lighter than aluminum and stronger than titanium, it could replace metals in everything from cars to satellites β€” all while being biodegradable.
