Wes Derbyso, reading about Hulu and DisneyPlus basically getting rid of the Hulu app in 2026. I have zero problems with this as I already will occasionally use Hulu through my Disney Plus skill on FireTV...I get both services plus ESPNPlus free through Verizon for now...I only pay the additional $5 for Hulu Plus with no commercials.
@countrymetalhead@someplace.social wait, so does this mean that hulu itself is going away? because I pay for just the hulu on demand stuff, it's like 9.99 a month or something... will that be going away? because I really like hulu a lot.

@countrymetalhead@someplace.social I use hulu for their live tv so not sure what's going to become of that. or if I should start looking for something like youtube tv now or something.
Wes Derby@lunar_fang@mastodon.stickbear.me It sounds to me like they're just going to roll that into the DisneyPlus app as well...Though if they get rid of it, YouTube TV, which is what I use, is about the same price and mostly has the same channel lineup. So there are definitely options that don't require a return to satellite or cable TV.
