What a horrible article.
Victim shaming...
It was the buffalo's fault for being "crafty and belligerent".
It hadn't even been wounded. It attacked unprovoked!
And saying buffaloes earned their reputation. Buffaloes don't care about reputation! They can "absorb astounding amounts of lead even when shots are well placed". We only failed because they are formidible, not because we're pathetic.
No remorse from the guy's family... they almost say: "It's what he would have wanted".
