I /kind of/ get it. I think Will considered Thom the V1 model, and inferior to V3.5. Of course, that doesn't account for the V1 parts that were necessary to have V3.5. Like the split Kirk or B'elanna. Both are needed for the whole, and old Riker is just as important as new Riker. In any case, he didn't have to be such a dick about it :^D

Well, you remember how strongly he felt about not being cloned a few seasons ago. Vaporized his own nacent clone when he found out. Dude values being unique, and now he literally past is judging all his decisions. 😆

Maybe he's just a psycho. If you can't empathize with your literal self, who can you empathize with?!

I'd feel pretty bad if I led a fairly good life, and found I had an exact me left on a shitty planet to fend for my/his self. I'd do my best to try to send some coolness his way.
