ah, yes. The Windows 11 experience. All I can hear right now is my work laptop spinning up, idle, with the fucking laptop lid closed.

@puppygirlhornypost2@transfem.social oh, in my case, I do this intentionally for work laptops. I VPN in via the laptop, it has a week-long connection timeout, configure it to not suspend in X minutes, or when the lid is closed, and IT never bothers me.

Then I have a Linux VM setup that uses openconnect to get on the network, and actually get shit done.
