I’ve begun to understand better why ordinary Germans seemingly allowed #Nazis to take control without a fight in the 1930s. #Protesting isn’t easy. Most people just want to continue their lives, hoping that the evil #fascist government would collapse or that till the next election people would have recovered their sanity; only to find that soon it’ll be too late to protest peacefully. #fascism #worldpolitics
