Tired of how much Canadian journalism focus on the US. Sure let's do it about trade policies that impact us.. but their non-stop stupidity and fuckery, we just don't need to see that.
They are gerrymandering in Texas, this is their fucking problem. Why should it be the #1 news of the Canadian public broadcaster? What can I do? How does that concern me?
And yes, human rights abuse should be denounced.
Are we running out of problems in Canada to talk about? I don't think so.
@jerome@jasette.facil.services Yes.
That and they conflate Canadian organizations with foreign one.
Like the Titan report that came out yesterday; many reported that the Coast Guard issued a report about it. Turns out they didnβt, itβs a foreign coast guard that did.

Canadian Coast guard areas of resposibility:
sea area A1: within range of shore-based VHF DSC coast station (40 nautical miles)
sea area A2: within range of shore-based MF DSC coast station (40 to 150 nautical miles)
sea area A3: within the coverage of an Inmarsat geostationary satellite (approximately 70Β°N to 70Β°S, excluding sea areas A1 and A2)
sea area A4: the remaining areas, covering the polar regions
In Canada, sea area A1 covers the east and west coasts. Sea area A4 covers the Arctic. All other waters are in A3 sea area.
Leoardo di Caprio's burrial site is outside of Canadian Coast Guard jurisdiction and falls under US Coast Guard's as per various agreements to carve up resonsibilities/territories.
After the sinking of Leonardo's ship in 1912, it was decided to have proper ice surveys and those stil go on today and coast guard of Canada and USA do the surveys based on those territories.
