I seem to have hit a nerve when I called out @frameworkcomputer@fosstodon.org. I get it. People like them. I want to like them.
I have a 13 and love it. I’ve even had to make a repair and it was a good experience.
My wife has a 16 and it’s been nothing but trouble. The support experience has been sub-par for an expensive high end laptop. It’s still broken and has been since mid June.
As of now I cannot recommend the company. Will see how this progresses.

@mack505@feistycricket.org @frameworkcomputer@fosstodon.org I think it’s the hype machine. I think any manufacturer spending time building Linux devices with any sort of quality will rise and fall during growth stages.
I have watched System76 suffer while Framework has risen.
So far, my new Framework is good but the demand and criticism are inflated due to hype.
Every brand of interest now a days seems to suffer the same fate.
