Trump has signed an order imposing an additional 25% tariff on oil imports from India due to its purchases from Russia. The White House says similar tariffs could be extended to other countries importing Russian oil.

Which means nothing, since USA is an oil exporter, and anyway India can sell in many other places. A general 25% tariff increase on India would have sent a different signal.

Looks like Putin had a fruitful conversation with Witkoff.
