Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Ukrainians in Hungary should not receive more assistance than unemployed Hungarians. “If a country is attacked, as Ukraine was, you help if you can. We welcomed all refugees and gave everyone help, but we are the only country to say: you get the same as Hungarians. No free money—after three months of unemployment, it’s public works. The same applies to Ukrainians. We’re ready to share what we have, but not give away everything,” Orban stated.
