Okay so I think I've figured out energy, turns out the absurd is simply the truth. But I think the only conclusion I can draw from this is that if it weren't for the conservation of energy, there would be no reason for energy to exist as a concept.... So i guess that "absurd" explanation I posted earlier about imagining a different universe actually DOES make sense. Physics is fucking weird
