It's always a little creepy when a random guy I've never heard of shows up in a thread and just... Says something generically nice.
Not offensive. Not chaserish. Just... He probably thinks that was one of his good deeds today. He probably thinks the Internet needs more people like him out here being nice to people and encouraging them. He probably thinks he's the anti-troll.
Still comes off creepy, though.
And the thing that really gets to me is that I'm painfully aware (like all the time) of how other women and feminine presenting people having these same boundaries hurt me as an egg. I wanted to be better. I wanted to not be one of those guys. I tried to be encouraging and positive and supportive. And I still got shut out. No amount of kindness could make up for my masculine presentation.
Yet here I am...
