So the other fun thing today in DND was with our fight with a necromancer and his pet zombies/crawly hand horde.

I’m playing a Paladin with a sword that does extra radiant damage and had an AC of 20. XD

At one point, the necromancer tried to cast Crown of Madness on me.

The warlock tried to counterspell and failed, and I lost my saving throw. With glee, the DM described what happened, and ended it with, “You are Charmed.”

Me: No, I’m not. I’m immune.

DM: …what.

Me: Yeah. It’s my new passive with that last level up. I’m immune to Charmed. shows him my immune to Charm on my iPad See?

Him: …the Crown of Madness slips off your head and falls to the ground with a soft thud.

@glen_malley@mstdn.ca Yup! And last session we leveled up, so I literally had only just gotten that level 7 upgrade to it.

The look on the DM’s face was amazing 🤣 He thought he’d just made the fight harder for us, since we’d been winning pretty handily thanks to all my radiant damage, AND THEN. 🤣
