Lovely. I truly despise stupid Uber drivers. At the emergency room with @LunarPhoenix@someplace.social. ordered an Uber to get us home… And mentioned that we were at the emergency room entrance, and both of us are totally blind, carrying canes. Nothing was said about dogs… And this melted brained moron rejected the ride. So instead of having a ride show up in two or three minutes, we get to wait 13. Asshole.

A rideshare app message screen is displayed. The driver's name is Shahid, driving a Hyundai Sonata with the license plate SPF594. The message sent at 4:13 PM reads: "Hello. There are two of us coming with you. We are at the emergency room entrance. We are both totally blind, carrying white canes. Please pick us up at the emergency room. Thanks." Below the message, there are three quick response buttons: "I'm here," "Be right there," and a partially visible third option. The message input field and keyboard are visible at the bottom of the screen. The phone shows it is 4:13 with LTE signal and 44% battery.

@countrymetalhead@someplace.social @LunarPhoenix@someplace.social He must have been a foreign driver. I'm not a dog person but uber and Lyft drivers as well as cab drivers should be aware that blind folks have guide dogs. Hello?
