Todays #miniaturePainting adventure, painting up a prototype Space Marine before I do the whole squad.

I think I like this colour scheme, it's only a slight varient on an Ultramarine but with white shoulder pads and silver/steel trim instead of gold.

I prefer having the white pads for a bit of contrast.

A mostly painted, basecoated Space Marine with blue armour and white shoulder pads and steel trim and weapon.

The paints used are below the model. There is Two Thin Coats Marine Blue, Warpaints Fanatic Brigade Grey, Citadel Leadbelcher and Warpaints Fanatic Deep Grey.

Painted on a few bits while I was waiting for things to be sent to me for work.

He’s now at the point where I’d be happy to put him on the table to be honest, but I can do better and try some edge highlights.

That’s a job for tomorrow however.

A Warhammer Space marine that is 95% painted with a Blue and White colour scheme. He has silver trim, a red gun and green eyes and looks much more complete compared to before.
