Bluebird Between Worlds.

This overexposed photograph captures a bluebird perched on a powerline, bathed in light so intense it softens every detail. I love the way it looks—almost like a watercolor painting, where the bird seems to dissolve into the brightness, delicate and dreamlike.

"An eastern bluebird (Sialia sialis) perches delicately on a twisted metallic wire, suspended in a world of light. The background is so overexposed it dissolves into pure white, erasing all context and grounding—leaving only the bird and its perch floating in a dreamlike void. The bluebird’s feathers shimmer with electric blue, almost glowing against the stark brightness. Its reddish-brown chest and white throat peek through the haze, like a memory half-remembered. The bird’s head is turned slightly, as if listening to something beyond the frame. The image feels both intimate and otherworldly, as though the bird has stepped out of time and into a realm of light.
