I suspect that some readers might interpret this cartoon as a call for Luddism, but mostly it's a reflection of thoughts I've been having lately about out-of-control data harvesting and a growing surveillance state.

Being more mindful in our tech choices is exactly what's called for.

Convenience should not be the only consideration, not when technology has the power to shape ourselves and our society.

And especially not when the companies understand that better than the general public, and are taking advantage to shape both to suit their own selfish ends to everyone else's detriment.
