@Chloe@catwithaclari.net well technically there may or may not be a higher plane on which sapient entities are fully projected as pure concepts, self-perpetuating snippets of information. in which case each of us has a True Name that perfectly represents us but which cannot be known nor comprehended at a conscious level. maybe God knows people's truenames.

not in the sense of "the universe is just a hologram so who cares about doing the right thing", but in the sense that

stuff doesn't have to be physical to be real. ideas are real. friendships are real. Magenta is real. none of these things physically exist, and yet we use them all the time. Meaning is everywhere, whether we're here to observe it. and it goes all the way down. we keep finding more math, everything is math deep down. it's literally that xkcd of "philosophy is just applied biology. biology is just applied chemistry. chemistry is just applied physics. physics is just applied math. math is just applied philosophy". on a level we have not yet perceived, all is one and one is all.
