the GLONASS and BeiDou logos are so cool why is the US one so lame

(all three are satellite location systems, BeiDou is chinese, GLONASS is russian, GPS is american)

BeiDou logo. very simplistic with a nice little wave across it that separates the big dipper constellation and an icon of the earth the GLONASS logo, with the earth in a triangle "beamed out" by three simplistic satellites. all the satellites are connected with stars in a ring. the entire thing is surrounded by a ring of russian text, with the russian federation flag spanning the bottom, split in the middle by a compass rose. the GPS logo. it's a shield with a cheesy-ass "bronze" shine around the edge, four disconcertingly realistic satellites inside around the earth with a distinct lack of any symmetry at all, a compass rose that has the same awful shine (except lit differently than the shield) and with a weirdly long bottom spoke. along the bottom is a scroll-thing with "NAVSTAR GPS" in a 90s Word default font. IT'S UGLY AS HELL
