OK so. Gavrilo Princip was dying of Tuberculosis, and with him dying of this (then) shameful disease, he and some other TB sufferers decided to make a name for themselves by assassinating Franz Ferdinand.
This sparked World War One, the aftermath of which lead to World War 2, and a man named Touko Valio Laaksonen from Finland fought in WW2 and got a fetish for German Uniforms. He later became Gay Erotic Artist Tom of Finland who REVOLUTIONIZED gay erotica and gay perceptions his work including Muscular, Leather-clad bikers and police officers in tight pants.
This bled into gay culture which lead to things like the Biker guy in The Village People and a man named Rob Halford adopting the style. He was the lead singer for Judas Priest, and thought the "Leather Daddy" style into Heavy Metal.
Heavy Metal then became known popularly as "Tough Guy Music" and with that, the "Leather Daddy" style became known as the "Tough outlaw guy" style. This bled into Cartoons by the 80s and 90s, leading to Leather Daddies appearing in Cartoons in the 90s.
In Short, Tuberculosis gave us a Leather Daddy in a Cartoon in the 90s.
