Just to refresh my situation:
I am totally dependent on crowdfunding for my basic expenses while my appeal with Social Security for securing disability benefits via SSDI is processing. I was forced to leave my job because of a chronic medical condition (chronic dizziness) preventing me from applying for work.

The disability benefits that I received from my former job were cut off by my ex-employer's insurance company despite my personal doctor's testimony that I was unable to return to work. I am currently applying for Federal disability through the appeal process; I'll be eligible for & will apply for SS by next year.
