GitLab CFO, Brian Robins, says they are “aligned with the goals of DOGE, because the company’s software tools aim to help people do more with less. What the Department of Government Efficiency is trying to do is what GitLab does.”

You either support fascism or you don’t. It’s binary. There’s no gray area or “aligning.”

Considering GitLab? Don’t. Use

@markwyner@mas.to @Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de @aphyr@woof.group OK folks, if GitLab being React shit wasn't enough of a reason not to use it, can y'all drop it now that they've announced they're explicitly fash-aligned? 👆👆

Even more hilarious how they make the DOGE/"efficiency" analogy when React is the most absolutely gratuitously inefficient way to do websites/webapps. Unless your measure of "efficiency" is "getting rid of skilled human labor and worsening services"...
🙄🙄

JFC, can we just survey all tech executives for their stances re. capitulating to fascism?
All this whack-a-mole is exhausting.
