I started this one in October of 2024 and I wasn’t sure I would ever finish it but I did.

Sun setting behind Rocky Mountains overlooking a lake. The colours are mostly oranges, reds, and browns. There’s a tree line (silhouette) of evergreen trees in the distance at the base of the mountains. In the foreground is part of a large tree with orange and golden autumn leaves. It is looming over the water and the bright sun in the centre of the scene. Midway between the mountains and the large tree is a peninsula with three more detailed evergreen trees and one lone bare tree with crooked spindly branches. At the bottom of the foreground are silhouettes of tall grasses. My signature S in the shape of a butterfly wing framed in a rectangle is sitting in the centre of the water. It is subtly reflected in the water (I’m pretty proud of that idea). The scene is warm and calm like a serene late autumn afternoon.
