guys when did they add these features i didn't see them in the changelog

the mastodon Install From Source page, now including a section on "Purchasing ICBMs", "Setting up missile targeting system", and a prerequisite of "Contract with nuclear-capable defense contractor" on the sidebar underneath "Dealing with unwanted content" is "Intercepting incoming missiles". in the admin sidebar, under optional features, is "Automated missile targeting"

@doskel@masto.doskel.net i can't believe it's 2024 and they still require Ubuntu or Debian. i've got everything else but they gotta support Arch.

@ipg@wetdry.world it's only for guaranteed support, most of those are optional; i built my own missiles, no contractor, and they still work. you just need to make sure the ruby versions match up

@doskel@masto.doskel.net now that you say it i should probably move to self-made instead of contracted defense providers but i don't really have the space in my back yard for that...

@ipg@wetdry.world yeah also keeping up with maintenance is really annoying. the uranium core got removed from the FreeBSD distribution kernel and i had to get a new plutonium core
