Was low on charge and network while over there, here are some more pics

The partly rusted out sign at the French Island General Store, viewed from behind so that it's backwards. You can see a dusty track in front, and a eucalypt-bordered field beyond that. Above, clear blue skies and the merciless sun. A view of the ocean in the morning. There's very little wind and the water is calm. In front is a line of ten old jetty posts, and on top of each of them is a cormorant-type bird, resting and looking for fish. Sitting on the beach after a long ride to the campsite: 40ish km to get from Frankston, then another 5 or so to get to camp from the jetty). My legs are stretched out in front of me, and in between them is a well earned can of beer. The sun is kind of beginning to set, although still quite merciless, and it's reflecting in the water and on the sand. My camp for two days: a tarp stretched between two hiking poles, and an inflatable mattress and sleeping bag underneath. In the background is my ebike, still to have its cooking gear unpacked, and a whole load of bracken and tea tree.
