As staff or manager: numerical weather prediction IT production systems; tech transfer from R&D to operations; data stewardship; WMO data formats; opening up free access to weather model data; and last but not least, 24/7 interventions in support of emergency management (national + international multi-hazard dispersion modelling including volcanic & civil nuclear).
