In the past I have recommended Nova Launcher for Android, as it massively improves Android's UI for control-freaks.
They're now owned by a privacy-mining/eradicating company.

Some have recommended Neo Launcher, others Niagara Launcher with Sesame, but .. glancing at the article, Sesame is owned by the same purchase of Nova Launcher, .. so it's now becoming-spyware..

Niagara's .. ugh .. IF you hate widgets, you want a single search screen, where you can search any app, and you want a listing of your apps, then Niagara's for you.
What the hell's the point of discarding my organizing-widgets, though?
I'm pinning this one, because having one's trusted-devices suddenly molesting one's life is something that needs to be broken from our lives, and the eradication of trustworthy-options is something that happens more & more, in the Enshittocene ( late-stage moneyarchy ).
