My great-Grandfather Pleasant Luther "Duke" Berryhill & great-Grandmother Jeanetta Grayson Berryhill.
They were Roll #117 & #7144. They lived through the Dawes Commission, Tribal land allotment theft & Oklahoma statehood.
Duke was Captain of the Lighthorse & active in the Muscogee Nation Gov't in Indian Territory. He was known as extremely good sharpshooter.
Jeanetta was the last full blood in my lineage & had 5 children, my grandmother being #1.
