I always try to look closely at the profiles of those who follow me, because in some ways I'm picky about who I follow back, because I don't like my timeline being flooded with stuff I'm not interested in. Here are a few reasons why I might not follow you back:
- no bio
- no profile pic
- hammer and sickle in profile pic, display name, bio, posts
- red flag / star in profile pic, display name, bio, posts
- any other authoritarian symbols in profile pic, display name, bio, posts
- national flags in profile pic, display name, bio, posts
- no own posts, just boosts
- boosting tankie or any other authoritarian accounts
- boosting Anti-D accounts
- boosting Zionist accounts
- boosting hypocritical lefties / "anarchists"
- boosting "anarcho-capitalist" accounts
- boosting TERF accounts
- suspect / religious / esoteric / oppressing content
- simply not interested in your posted stuff (doesn't mean I despise you)
...and similar stuff.
