"You may take one of these bags," said the Witch, her face hidden by a large hat brim.

"What's in them?" I asked.

"One holds mountains and lakes and villages to explore. One holds a house for a family to live in forever happily. Others... who knows?"

"Does any of them contain some charm that will let me see your face?"

The Witch smiled, I think, but did not answer.

One bag rustled slightly.
