Concept drawing resembling a newspaper page. The the name of the paper is Your Daily Fediverse. Instead of news articles, it is full of social media posts.

When the user opens the app for the first time during a 24h wake period, a new issue of the paper is created. Only the newest issue can be modified and only by adding new pages. When a new page is added it is automatically populated with known fediverse posts. The content of the pages stays unchanged after this.

Various rules are assigned to different reserved areas on the page. These rules determine what kind of posts are put there during page creation. For example:
– Some posts are chosen by popularity, e.g. the most shared posts in the last 12h.
– Some other posts are chosen if nobody else you follow has boosted them yet. A subset of these are posts by newcomers and posts by people with whom you have had mutual interaction.
– Some posts need to contain a picture.
– Some posts need to be long or form a long thread.
– Some posts must be short.
– Some posts are required to contain given keywords/hashtags or be posted by given users

These rules can also be combined: the concept image presents areas for popular pictures, popular long posts and popular short posts.

A rule may consider the current page number. E.g. the time window over which the popularity ranking is done may be increased on each subsequent page: 12h, 24h, 4d, week, ...

If a post is chosen and put on a page, it won't be selected again, ever.
