Hello! At the very start of the pandemic lockdowns, a sweet kitten showed up crying on my doorstep, with her pregnant mother lurking in the shadows. I invited the kitten in, and caught her mother in a trap. Two weeks later five more kittens popped out, and they were all too sweet and adorable to evict, so now I have seven cats.

They've grown a bit since this photo, and they don't usually all pile together at once, but they're still a bunch of sweet cuddle-kids.

Two tabby cats (tan striped on the right, grey classic on the left) stretched out with their bellies facing, and five tiny tabby kittens snuggled in between them, making a very adorable tabby sandwich.

It's difficult to get them all together for a good family photo, so this is about the best I can do.

A low-angle view of seven tabby cats and a fluffy black dog in a kitchen. The cat are all in disarray. On the bottom-left Simon has mostly walked out of frame, leaving only his tail sticking straight up to perfectly block Lydia behind him. On the right Petunia is exactly half out of frame. In the middle Sumie is perfectly posed, though she partially blocks Eleanor and Mina, and then in the most back Primrose is glaring while Vincent bumps into her as he passes. A top-down view of seven tabby cats eating off of two plates on a kitchen floor. They are surprisingly symmetrical, with three cats at each plate and one in the middle. Around each plate, there is a grey classic tabby at the top and two tan striped tabbies at the bottom, while the cat in the middle is a grey striped tabby.

Another view of the cats enjoying their new dwelling for #Caturday, featuring the four "identical" tabbies. (They all look completely different to me, but other people seem to have trouble distinguishing them for some reason blobcatgiggle )

For instance, on my Photos app it identifies basically all of my cats as Lydia, who isn't even the same color as these four!
