If your response to an accusation is to accuse someone else of something else or the same thing, you just confessed to the original accusation. At best, you demonstrated that someone else is also guilty of the same thing, and that you are willing to humiliate yourself by changing the subject like a coward when confronted.

Some time ago, there was a major reorganization by region. Each command is responsible for a different region and is made up of all of the branches.

The suffragettes burned down a pavilion. They burned down mansions. They killed people.
Unions gave and received a LOT of violence in the process of getting us the weekend and the 40-hr work week.
I want you to remember this the next time someone argues that African-Americans are "undermining their own cause" with violence and/or vandalism at BLM protests.
Should women give the right to vote back because they "undermined their own cause" with violence and vandalism?

Tofu GolemLong ago, when social media was on the rise, I was a curmudgeon and stuck with Internet communities built around message boards.
I remember reading alarming articles from digital civil rights activists such as the Electronic Frontier Foundation that the business model (collecting private data and using it to influence users) of many of those (then) new social media sites (e.g. Facebook, Twitter) made them an inherent threat to democracy.
