One way Americans can start to make some recompense for this is to fight to save those people facing the same thing today, right now, in Gaza.
Pressure your politicians to protect Palestinians, end Israel's criminal genocide, help rebuild Gaza and restore stolen land to Palestinians, and also, in the interim, help the people on this list who desperately need help to survive:

I don't want to guilt anyone into this, I know many people are not in a position to do so, but for those who can afford to but haven't, i ask you to consider this seriously.

let’s say there are 100 people, and $950,000
how do you distribute it?
a group of 100 people with equal say decide on $9500 each
but we don’t live in a society where everyone has an equal say
so, 1 person gathers 9 others around them, and says, well, since i’m organising this I get $500,000.
because you’ll tell everyone else what we’ve decided is fair, you’ll get $50,000 each
and the rest can have $500 each
the only reason you have less, is because someone else decides they are worth more

Let's be clear on one thing.
What Tsarmer and the Labour Party have done is to make it illegal to protest about the killing of innocent people - men, women and children.
What Tsarmer is doing is telling us we MUST all support the mass-slaughter and torture of innocent civilians using some of the most inhumane combinations of murder that we have ever seen committed en-masse.
Tsarmer and the politicians that voted to support this are monsters.

I could never, in all good conscience, take the life of another sentient being... any creature where you can look into its eyes and see that it experiences love, pain, and fear.
It's why I am vegetarian. It's why I am against the death penalty. It's why I am anti-war.
Unfortunately, I live in a world where this doesn't matter to many people. And where soulless politicians are willing to stand by even as humans - whether men, women, or children - die in the name of money and greed.
One of the things that I am most frustrated by at the moment is how many people seem 'surprised' by all that Trump is doing. None of it should be a surprise, it was all there for everyone to see before the election. What makes it even more frustrating is that a lot of these surprised people get paid an awful lot of money to be behind the curve, as if they are experts in something that ordinary people were warning about long before it became America's new reality.
