At some point in the past my introduction toot got unpinned..

I’m Stu, a not young gay white man married to his husband (B) who used to be here too.

I was on X when it was Twitter and many people know me from there by the same username.

I cycle, I sing in a choir, I toot a lot.

I work for a small software company that makes industry specific software, and I’m their senior customer support person.

I’m also AuDHD which was only diagnosed recently (though known for a fair while) and have been learning to understand what that actually means for someone who spent years just thinking he was unorganised (still am). I also have a handful of chronic medical conditions, hence the determination to keep fit (cycling)

I’ve performed a wide range of music both with the choir and previously as a soloist in musical theatre and opera, and my tastes are varied, but I tend to not follow popular music these days. Ask me about Spandau Ballet or Giuseppe Verdi, and I will give you opinions though.

I also tend to be something of a political tragic and concerned with my place in the world and how we all get on. I believe Nazis should not be tolerated and that governments should be working to protect the environment we live in and make society more fair for all.

I live on the land of the Wangal People who were dispossessed by the British, but I grew up in the land of the Bibulmen and Noongar. Trans rights are human rights, gay rights are human rights, and Zionist thinking kills people.

This is both understandable and frustrating for the players, and for the fans.

The women deserve better (pay that enables them all to focus on the sport would also help)
