Good evening. J has asked me if we can rewind and start today again, when she remembered it was her Dad's birthday at the start this morning, instead of what she actually did do, which is completely forget it again until 22.15.
FYI, north Cornwall is not currently experiencing 'a heatwave'. In fact, it's not even sunny.
Less scorchio, more cloudio with a bit of rainio.
Excellent signage, all you need to know before going to a war museum.
How to get in, and whether or not you can get cheese in the gift shop.
Good morning. Slow start to the day, may well carry that on for the remainder of it. Not much choice to be honest, the current flare up kept me sleeping for far longer than usual, and I think there's plenty more of that to come for me today.
Hopefully can stay awake for the Charity Shield match at 3pm, but aside from that and walking the dog, no other plans for the day.

Good morning. Should be warming up according to the Met Office. It's certainly brighter out there, and felt warmer when I did the bird feeders at 7.30 ish.
Going to attempt some garden stuff today, see how the legs and balance copes, but I'll leave that until post dog walk.
That is always my priority task for the day when J is at work, so if I've only got enough juice to do that, the other stuff will have to wait.

New on the blog: Mysteries and spectacles.
That's mysteries, as in how J's 'logic' works, and spectacles as in glasses you wear.

Just seen yet another Red Bull video pass by in my timeline, and the thought struck me that, despite their massive marketing and sponsorship of adrenaline and action sports that's all over the place, I have never tasted it.
The only time I touch a can of it is when I'm picking empty ones out of a hedgerow. The delivery drivers must use to keep them going then throw them out their van windows.
I was wrong. I didn't get the 12th email as I was standing in the porch with the parcel.
I got the 12th, 13th and 14th emails.
12: We've changed the delivery time window a bit
13: Evri - We've delivered your parcel
14: Ebay - Your order has arrived.
I effing know!
Because my excitement levels were off the chart (that's not having shot off the top but fallen below the x axis), this morning I opened my parcel that arrived yesterday evening. It contained the wrong pencil.
I see even more emails in my future.
