I'm a research professor at Penn State working on #Galaxy, and I’m still sort of the coordinator of the #GMOD project (emeritus) (http://gmod.org) and have been a developer on things like #WormBase, group lead on the Alliance of Genome Resources, and project manager of a few other OSS projects (covid and cancer). San Diego.

I find astrophysicists using Galaxy (https://usegalaxy.org) to do astronomical calculations cosmically pleasing.

(Note: Galaxy was originally developed in bioinformatics , but is really a "generic" scientific computational workflow tool.)
