there should be an "interacting with us&" privacy policy.
we're a living data kraken with horrifyingly good memory, and your data will generally be processed and might be shared with (partners βͺ
close friends)
we will generally analyse your data, especially if it's structured. if it isn't, we might manually convert it for the sole purpose of analyzing it.
for the lack of such a policy, this post will have to serve as one for now.
Tech is inherently political, and if you pretend it isn't, you're an idiot.

Hi fedi, I made a ko-fi! If you want to throw money at me for nothing in return other then the usual public shitposts (clarifying that this isn't an individuelle dienstleistung so i don't need an imprint): https://ko-fi.com/schrottkatze#
you'd help me continue functioning and existing so that'd be nice π
note on how i handle relationships (all kinds), "you" at hypothetical sample entity (potentially reader)
generally, we will not talk about people as {friends, partners} until explicitly confirmed with them.
with "friend" that's kinda relaxed, as in i usually don't ask for explicit confirmation but i will also not call you a friend until you call me one OR we've been spending a lot of positive time together
(romantic) relationships require explicit mutual agreement, though if that's implied through interactions (and not just making out once, but general interaction patterns over weeks) and you call me that (e.g. "partner", "girlfriend"), i will likely not dispute it (especially if i confimed that i have feelings earlier).
friendships can fade out and i will not call you a friend after some time, if that doesn't feel right anymore, mutually confirmed romantic relationships will keep that label until confirmed otherwise (=broken up)
if we mutually agreed that our relationship is "undefined" or whatever else, it's that until confirmed otherwise. To others I will either say that (and potentially explain) or just say "friend" for simplicity.
This post is subject to formalization and definition once I made a website or pay for obsidian publish.

i'll use this:
- to bounce ideas (there will be a rubber ducky autorole once inset that up)
- as lfg for games
- for experimenting with discord since it seems to have some really nice tech stuff to play around with
https://discord.gg/dxH9hQTecp
(i will set this up later, when im not on my phone anymore)
why discord? it's easily hackable (i can build (moderation) tools etc myself) and i dont have to deal with matrix
