Good morning
Good morning
I think the plan here is to cut bevels into these and then glue some greebles onto these. Then I can fix the texture by applying some polyfilla that I have lying around and paint them up.
No idea what colour I'm going for. Probably grey to be honest as the terrain is mean to be background and not foreground. But maybe I'll think of something more special once I've got the shapes worked out.
Brother Greg of the Currently Unamed Legion surveys a work in progress battlefield.
There is a real joy in gluing together literal rubbish to make some terrain. The 3d printer just isn't quite the same (although I probably am going to cover this with 3d printed parts to add some texture once the exess material is cut and the gaps are filled)

Edged and rimmed this space over my lunch break π
Heβs pretty much done, just needs a decal applying to the shoulder pads I think. Iβll do that tonight when heβs fully dry.
I'm not sure if the edge highlights make it look better or worse than before to be honest. I feel like I've not done them very well.

Painted on a few bits while I was waiting for things to be sent to me for work.
Heβs now at the point where Iβd be happy to put him on the table to be honest, but I can do better and try some edge highlights.
Thatβs a job for tomorrow however.
oh no the fucking photo is blurry and I didn't notice while phone posting
Todays #miniaturePainting adventure, painting up a prototype Space Marine before I do the whole squad.
I think I like this colour scheme, it's only a slight varient on an Ultramarine but with white shoulder pads and silver/steel trim instead of gold.
I prefer having the white pads for a bit of contrast.
