Ok = #introduction = how civil. Just joined and can honestly say, I didn't migrate from the bird, because I'm as much a Luddite to never give a hoot about some corporatized IRC chatroom. But this, this seems different. There are other greybeards like me on here likening the #fediverse to the BBS's of old and I get the feels of afternoons, after school let out, dialing up my favorite board and seeing what happened since the last time I connected. Kids, that's how we did it in 1991.
So, by introduction, I am a cybersecurity professional who's worked in financial services and as a federal contractor. My interests are cyber analytics and edge security. I'll probably end up reposting stuff I saw somewhere else and pictures of my dogs.
