If you are faced with flaky (and I mean flaky, like changing every couple minutes) #DNS checks on a domain you own, and also your email provider informs you that your domain verification has stopped working again....
... check that you don't have both a CNAME and a TXT at apex.
I definitely thought "conflicting records" meant *records of the same type.*
So anyway I banged my head against this for three days 🙃

basically like the EFF, but Canadian; the Chaos Computer Club, but Canadian; you get the idea.
The CCLA seems to be doing some work on this (https://ccla.org/our-work/privacy/), but I am looking for more targeted/focused orgs.
There's also https://openprivacy.ca/work/, which I had not heard of.

oh ok so *here's* a neat feature of #Mastodon lists that I had hitherto been unaware of:
You can set them to include replies from list members to:
- No one
- Members of the List
- Any followed user
This is REALLY COOL. The 🤯
option for me personally is to be able to include only replies that members of the list sent to other members of the list. Great for "Local" lists, or lists for a busy topic bubble!
You can also change this setting later!
