David Tennant episode. (Aren’t they all?) The Doctor, Christine, and a few other people are walking off a red double decker bus. Just in case you forgot this show is British. It’s a bit knackered, beat up, windows blown out, dented all around, smoking. Also, it’s in the middle of a desert. Wheels embedded in the sand. Caption reads, “Call it a hunch, but I think we’ve gone a little bit further than Brixton.” Hull, maybe?

Jodie Whittaker episode. The Doctor is standing in a gray cloudy beachside town with Yaz and Dan, inexplicably dressed up in ridiculous pirate-esque garb, behind her. Don’t worry, they’re not saying anything, as if they’ve forgotten to give them any dialogue in this scene. The Doctor asks, “How would you prefer to be addressed?” A Sea Devil (this episode takes place before that term was canonically decided to no longer be in vogue) replies, “Where is it?” The Doctor does a proper Jodie scronchy face and says, “Mr. WherelsIt? Lord WherelsIt?”

A bunch of people are crowded around an old man listening to him speak, including the Doctor, looking a bit perplexed at what he’s saying. Captions read, “And every Christmas Eve, the people of UK go to war with the country of Turkey.”
