trying to figure out caffeine addiction

there keep people popping up who decide to use my name as a verb. this time around it seems to refer to shitposting my brain worms (they eat ivermectin for breakfast)?

Other than that your average fedi experience: sapphic, poly, trans, audhd, not quite binary, curiosity-hate relationship with tech, currently finding myself as a fungal fun gal among other things :3

oh, and of course some variant of leftist, I hope.
covid is not over, let's keep protecting each other :3

flirts will not be taken serious and responded to in kind

photos unless specified otherwise are CC-BY-NC-SA

follow requests will be screened lightly: don't be a bot, fash, annoying and if your profile is fresh drop me a DM saying hi :3

for signal, darkie or alike - ask

Oh, also: white, gentile, able bodied and probably more, but trying my best, so please tell me how to be better <3

don't "dude", "bro" or "guy" me. seriously!

Hmmm, dunno if that's a thing with y'all but sometimes I see people having testimonials on their profile so if you wanna leave one on mine this is the thread?

for pinning, re: boosting my posts:
unless
- you cannot (because it's a DM/followers only)
- explicitly stated (e.g. in a CW)
you may boost any of the stuff that leaks from my brain into this verse of fedi

also, unrelated to boosts:
dunno if I ever said this publicly here but if any of my shitposts don't make sense to you, feel free to ask, sometimes there is some facts from any STEM field or some other mental connection that may be needed to understand the joke and I don't want that to exclude you from the joy and I will explain if you'd like to know and if anything I'll think higher of you for wanting to learn :3

Assigned gender? What is this - the work roster for the week??

why put pronouns out there?

in case you read my bio (yeay \o/) and wonder why I ask for pronouns somewhere on your profile (like bio, those bio fields, pinned posts, something I'm missing...), this is your chance to learn:
third person singular pronouns (probably best known but not the only ones are they, it, she or he) are quite commonly gendered in some way, meaning there are different pronouns for people, traditionally depending on rather arbitrary perception.
Now as I mention: this perception is rather arbitrary and its result doesn't work for everyone, so to make sure we don't hurt each other through mistakes in that regard, maybe think about it for however long you need, and when you find a pronoun you'd like others to use when referring to you, tell people, so we can learn how to respect you better :)

now when talking to others also know such a period can take time, they might not have told people yet or have other reasons not to want to tell and that's valid, too. However if the thing others instinctively use for you matches what you want them to, please bear in mind that that's a priviledge not everyone is able to enjoy and you can help them, by normalizing it to put ones pronouns out there.
Hope that explains a thing or two and if you read the whole thing and are still with me, congratulations, well done, figuretly pat yourself on the shoulder from me if you'd like :)

language brain fart

hm, I just noticed some dialect words for the same thing make more sense to me than others and since language and thinking influence each other that probably makes sense but that also once more makes me yearn for some neurodivergent dialect/language πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
