Apparently Threads has also implemented a post quote feature.
I say βapparentlyβ because posts seen through fedi-link only have βRE:β followed by absolutely nothing, but if you use the Threads app and open the same post, it has the expected embedded (quoted) post.
Not sure where the breakdown is, but Iβm betting that Threads is not using the same APIs as native Mastodon instances.
Driving me nuts, but getting those folks to abandon Threads for a true Mastodon instance just wonβt happen: βbut my followers!β

So what?
Release the files. Prosecute, adjudicate and then incarcerate the guilty, regardless of party affiliation.
See how easy that is?

The assumption that βTrump is in the Epstein filesβ seems a given, and itβs quite believable that Trump would have been a βfrequent flierβ for Epsteinβsβ¦umβ¦services.
But the way they are twisting themselves into pretzels to avoid releasing them is making me think that thereβs something even worse than Trump merely partaking in βfestivities.β
Maybe he was also a conduit for funds, particularly with the help of Russian oligarchs that needed money laundered.
