Earlier this year he posted about trans rights on social media. Trolls showed up in his comments, and he decided to get up in there and troll them back. Zero fucks on his replies.

Question for all the privacy/security smarties.

I was reading about those physical passkeys (like Yubico). My primary hangup is that a tiny USB stick can be easily lost/damaged. That seems like a huge risk.

What I’ve read about these passkeys seems ambiguous at best. Is there a strong argument for their use? If so, how does one backup a hardware passkey to mitigate the risk of loss/damage?

Today is International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples. So here’s some history you may not know about.

Lacrosse is a colonial version of a Native American game called Dehoñtjihgwa’és.

The French condemned it as too violent and noted it fostered the indigenous religions they sought to eradicate. Lacrosse is a lighter, white people’s version.

Bloodywood is a band from New Delhi. They blend metal with traditional Indian folk instruments. It sounds hokey, but it’s done brilliantly.

This video for “Tadka” is badass. It’s a song about cooking, family, and respect for women/elders. It’s everything you wouldn’t expect from a metal song.

But it slays. If you love metal, get ready to move your body.
