Dear fedi, what is actually a good alternative to #Spotify? #Bandcamp? #Soundcloud? Where do I get actual files, but also #streaming, and the artists get properly paid? Is there anything like that, or do I just have to buy CDs and build my own media server from where I can stream them then?🤷🏼

Ich veröffentliche endlich (nach 5 Jahren, in denen ich selten daran gedacht oder herumgefummelt habe, lol) meinen Blog, und würde mich über Boosts freuen!

Der Artikel von heute handelt von der Zeit als ich in einem Team von Nicht-Entwickler*innen git eingeführt habe. Er enthält sowohl technische Details, was für diejenigen, die sich mit UTF-16 kodierten Textdateien herumschlagen müssen, interessant sein dürfte, aber zum größten Teil ist es eine Geschichte darüber, anderen zu helfen und etwas beim Ausprobieren zu lernen:

I've been reading some more on your blog (fantastic read btw, Very entertaining and incredibly helpful at the same time),and I've noticed that you mention Scrum here and there.
I used to be a big fan of the Scrum theory, but actual businesses doing it are often doing it so terribly that I feel like, maybe the term itself is beyond recovery at this point. Maybe you can't continue doing capital S Scrum because if you mention it, developers are going to check out mentally and you'll never have any positive outcomes.
What are your thoughts on this? Is Scrum doomed because the market made it so terrible? Does it have right ideas but too many bad "scrum mentors" out there that pollute it? Is it just too old to still have any relevance for the development domain?

Wer auch immer auf die Idee gekommen ist, Touch-Bedienung in einen Herd einzubauen, hat nie selbst gekocht. Dir, mein Freund, ist nie das Nudelwasser übergelaufen, du hattest nie Fett und Öl vom Kochen an den Fingern.
Nur wer absolut KEINE Ahnung hat wie man einen Herd bedient, könnte auf die absolute Schnapsidee kommen, die Tasten zu etwas anderem zu machen als Drehknöpfe, die man selbst bedienen kann wenn man die Hände voll hat.
