AI is just a buzzword for machine learning, and we all use machine learning every day. VTubing wouldn't exist without it (face tracking). All good TTS is using ML, and that's fine, if it's consensually and ethically trained.

Good ML runs on your phone and didn't require scraping the internet to train, and has existed for many years.

What the techbros are pushing isn't just any AI/ML, it's a particularly bad version of it.

Are you getting everyone's ND traffic too? Can you just pretend to be multiple customers behind the same ONU and grab a bunch of prefixes?

@ariadne@social.treehouse.systems Heck how does your own router even know how to route delegated prefixes to other routers, if it doesn't have a full routing table for them? Just bouncing off their headend every time? If you ping another customer's SLAAC router IP from a PD subnet IP, does the request go directly within the subnet and the reply get bounced through the headend?!?!

I haven't been very open publicly about this before, but working on Apple GPU drivers was, indirectly, the majority of my income until now.

Due to Luna's manipulation and attacks, I'm now left coasting on savings trying to figure out how to survive long term.

I'm not in imminent danger of being homeless or anything, but it's an unstable situation, and now I worry about how long my savings will last.
