LibreWolf @librewolf@chaos.social
#LibreWolf v147.0-1 is now available!
https://codeberg.org/librewolf/bsys6/releases/tag/147.0-1
https://librewolf.net/installation/
Notable Changes:
Thanks to our two new core contributors (<3) we've now fully moved our CI and main release artifacts to @Codeberg@social.anoxinon.de! (this might be relevant to check for any downstream packagers) and managed to tackle a whole bunch of other long-open issues!

To support Firefox' changes to (finally! ;) respect XDG directories, LibreWolf sticks to ~/.librewolf if it already exists, for backward compatibility; but will use $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/librewolf otherwise.
Unfortunately, we've also had to drop 32bit builds for Windows starting with this release.
See https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/147.0/releasenotes/ for upstream changes.

As there seems to have been recent confusion about this, just a quick "official" toot to then pin: we haven't and won't support "generative AI" related stuff in LibreWolf. If you see some features like that (like Perplexity search recently, or the link preview feature now) it is solely because it "slipped through". As soon as we become aware of something like this / it gets reported to us, we will remove/disable it ASAP.
