I have updated my profile pic with this lovely beaded bracelet given to me many months ago by a couple of Palestinian women who I met while marching for a #FreePalestine in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa. I really didn't believe we would still be fighting this unholy #genocide over a year later.

Both Shane Jones and Debbie Ngarewa Packer may be right when they say the other doesn’t represent the “authentic voice of Māori”.

Every Māori person will have their own thoughts and feelings, and will have their own kaupapa.

"But demographically, as a people, Māori are worse off. And democratically we cannot accept that that’s okay."

As Pākehā I feel there's a common misunderstanding among many Tangata Tiriti and Tangata Tauiwi of what partnership with Māori means. Many believe the colonialists have the right to dictate the culture, language and legal framework of Aotearoa New Zealand by default. That's not a partnership. Regardless of ethnicity the most unique thing about the NZ people internationally is the influence of tikanga Māori on our collective culture. This is what makes me a NZer. #NZPol

For those not understanding what Peters is really saying; there are many politicians in this #NZPol govt who support #genocide.
