Please point me at a music player that can reliably handle this.

Android 14 phone. Running Google standard Android. 1Tb micro-SD. ~65k music tracks in ~650Gb. 20 playlists. Largest playlist is 17k tracks.

Maintained in a mirrored /music/$artist/$album folder tree via winamp and tagscanner. Transferred with Windows USB support.

Currently using Blackplayer EX 20.62. Last year's 20.63 release is broken in small ways and the developer has left the building.

As the heat wave bites.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/aug/10/england-poorest-families-ethnic-minorities-most-at-risk-dangerously-hot-homes

Lower-income householders, minority ethnic people and those with young children are more likely to live in homes at risk from dangerous overheating, research has found.
Replacing the housing stock at scale is just not an option. New builds are designed for developer profit, not any kind of efficiency, live-ability or resilience.

A history of how we got to where we are now in the UK with hotels being used as temporary housing. From Blair, through 14 years of misrule and austerity to the current Labour Government.

Right now there's a big argument going on inside Reform as part of the elections for board members. About what happens to party funds and why the branches don't get any of it. Which will only get worse when they start accepting crypto.

Simple. It's all gone into the pockets of the founders.

The grift and the long con is not always about money. Even if it starts like that, it changes into the need for power and influence. To make more money.

If I call Farage a grifter, it's because he actually is a con artist.

Taps sign :
Reform UK Party Ltd is a long con, owned & run by a bunch of fascist, racist grifters. They don't have members & supporters. They have donors & marks.

The bad news is that CO2 is still rising at nearly a record rate.
